Dies Wednesday;
Funeral FridayFuneral services for Mrs. Ollie M. Hardy of Carthage will be held Friday, Jan. 27, at 2 p. m. in the Kilgore Memorial home in Carthage, Elder Lawrence Jones officiating. Interment will be in Harmony township cemetery. Mrs. Hardy died Wednesday, Jan. 25, in Memorial hospital, Carthage.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Julien Burkness of Baltimore, Md., Mrs. Harry Lionberger of Carthage and Mrs. Ralph Stroker of Orlando, Fla.; four sons, Theodore, Glenn and Walter, all of Carthage, and Wayne of Hannibal, Mo.; 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers, Charles Hughett of Jacksonville, Bert Hughett of Keokuk, Iowa, and Fred Hughett of St. Louis, Mo., and one sister, Mrs. Bessie Bright of Carthage.

Mrs. Ollie M. Hardy
Are Held FridayFuneral services for Mrs. Ollie M. Hardy, 80 of Carthage, were held Friday, Jan. 27, at 2 p. m., in the Kilgore Memorial home in Carthage, Elder Lawrence Jones officiating. Music was furnished by Mrs. Nellie Botts and Mrs. James Walker with Mrs. Ralph Denison at the organ. Casket bearers were Leonard Hardy, Walter Hardy, Robert Hardy, Ted Hardy, Terence Matheny and Mylon Gronewold. Burial was in Harmony township cemetery.
Mrs. Hardy died Wednesday, Jan. 25, in Memorial hospital, Carthage, after a lingering illness.
Born Oct. 18, 1875, near Bentley, she was the daughter of Joshua and Marie Abbott Hughett. On March 3, 1895, she was married to Baptist Hardy of near Bentley, where they established their farm home and where their 11 children were born.
Surviving are four sons, Theodore, Glen and Walter of Carthage and Wayne of Hannibal, Mo.; three daughters, Mrs. Harry Lionberger of Carthage, Mrs. Robert Stroker of Orlando, Fla., and Mrs. Julien Burkness of Baltimore, Md.; 16 grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Her husband, two daughters and two sons preceded her in death.
Also surviving are three brothers, Charles Hughett of Jacksonville, Bert Hughett of Keokuk, Iowa, and Fred Hughett of St. Louis, Mo.; one sister, Mrs. Bessie Bright of Carthage, several nieces and nephews.
