Ollie Hallowell

Funeral services for Mrs. Ollie E. Hallowell, 94, LaHarpe, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Banks and Beals Funeral Home with the Rev. Wilmer Wernecke officiating.  Burial was in LaHarpe Cemetery.

Mrs. Hallowell died Monday morning, Dec. 12, 1977, in Montebello Manor Nursing Home in Hamilton where she had been a resident more than three years.

She was born Aug. 9, 1883, in Plymouth, a daughter of Dr. Levi J. and Susan M. Berry Rhea.  She married Roy C. Hallowell March 9, 1907, in LaHarpe.  He died in 1958.  A brother and a sister also died previously.  She was a member of the LaHarpe EN Club.

Surviving are a son, Henry R. of LaHarpe; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
