NEW LENOX -- Graveside services for Theron L. Haines, 76, of New Lenox, formerly of Colchester, who died Thursday in Silver Cross Hospital at Joliet, will be 1 p.m. Monday in Mount Auburn Cemetery, Colchester.
Funeral services will be at 8 p.m. Sunday in Kurtz Memorial Chapel in New Lenox. Visitation is 2-4 p.m. and 7 p.m. until time of services.
He was born July 15, 1908, in Colchester, a son of James and Lucy Cox Haines. He was employed by the Illinois Contractors in the sales department retiring in 1980 after 26 years. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 335 of Peoria, Scottish Rite Lodge Council Chapter, Mohammed Temple Peoria and Loyal Order of Moose at Aurora.
Surviving are a brother, Elzy of East Peoria; and two sisters, Vera Shehan of Peoria and Marjorie Smithers of Chillicothe.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Leota; two brothers, Ivo and Joseph Haines; and a sister, Hazel Haines.
