Column 5Clyde William Hagmeier
Clyde William Hagmeier, 59, of Hamilton, died at 11:34 p.m. Friday in Keokuk Area Hospital.
He was born Aug. 16, 1928 in Keokuk, the son of William H. and Bertha Babcock Hagmeier. He married Beverly Peterson on June 17, 1972 in Keokuk. He was employed for 15 years by the Consolidated Packaging Company of Ft. Madison, retiring in 1986.
He was of the Christian Faith and a member of the VFW in Hamilton.
Survivors include his wife; sons Bill Hagmeier of Cedar Rapids, Raymond Hagmeier of Wahidwa, Hawaii and Clyde Mitchell of Keokuk; stepsons, Doug and Dennis Shaul, David Gray and Don Jones, all of Keokuk; brothers Chester Hagmeier of Clear Water, Fla., Warren Hagmeier of Spikard, Mo., William Hagmeier of Kahoka and Arthur Hagmeier of Keokuk; four grandchildren and three step grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters, a brother and a sister.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Lamporte Funeral Home in Hamilton with Rev. Charles E. Harris officiating.
Burial will be in the Keokuk National Cemetery.
Visitation is after 1 p.m. today at the Lamporte Funeral Home in Hamilton and the family will meet with friends 7-9 p.m.
A memorial has been established.
Note: Beverly Peterson was his second wife. His first wife was Verna Rose Bryant.
