Dale Griffin

Private funeral services for Dale Griffen, 52, Stillwell, were held Tuesday morning in the Neiser Funeral Home in Carthage with the Rev. O. Eugene Moore officiating.  Burial was in Harmony Cemetery east of Bentley

Mr. Griffen died Sunday evening, May 21, 1978, in Veterans Hospital in Danville.

He was born Sept. 18, 1925, in Keokuk, Ia., a son of Frank and Grace Wright Griffen.  He was a veteran of World War 11.

Surviving are three brothers, Frank of Carthage, Harold of Fulton, Mo., and Donald of Jacksonville; a sister Mrs. Willis (Leora) Thompson of Pittsfield; nieces and nephews.
