Elmer Green Dies; Marceline Native

Elmer Green, Marceline, died Sunday at the Missouri Methodist Medical Center, St. Joseph.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at Miller-Tillotson Funeral Chapel, Marceline, conducted by the Rev. Fred Farris and the Rev. Bernard Payne.  Burial will be in the Bucklin Masonic Cemetery.

Elmer Hugh, son of Hugh and Emma Stanley Green, was born in Marceline.

He married Grace York and they were the parents of two sons.

Mr. Green is survived by his widow; sons Ronnie and Dean of St. Joseph; four granddaughters, Sherre, Tangee, Krista and Gwendolyn; also two brothers, Charles Green, Kirksville and Herbert Green, Seven Fall, Fla.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Gene, Howard and Clifford.

Mr. Green was a member of the First Baptist Church of Marceline.
