Services for Fred J. "Ted" Glasgow, 72, of 527 Morgan St., who died Sunday evening in Keokuk Area Hospital, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Schmidt-Vigen Memorial Home with the Rev. Terry Halstead officiating.
Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
Visitation is after 1 p.m. Tuesday, and the family will meet with friends 7-9 p.m.
He was born Feb. 14, 1909 in Keokuk, son of Fred and Stella Milligan Glasgow. He married Mildred V. Betts in 1932. He was a retired supervisor of the city parks department, where he worked for 15 years.
He was a lifelong resident of Keokuk and had lived with his daughter for the last two years. He was a member of the Christian faith.
Survivors include daughters Mildred "Midge" Rader of Keokuk and Marge Hatfield of Tolono, Ill.; sons Charles "Jobbie" of Irving, Texas and Fred L. of Columbus, Ind.; sister Marge Fletcher of Keokuk; brothers Elza and Willis of Keokuk and Edward of Sandusky; 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife and five brothers.
