Flora A. Glasgow, 88, of Keokuk, died Friday, Sept. 21, 2001, at the Keokuk Area Hospital.
She was born on Jan. 7, 1913, in Keokuk, the daughter of Arthur and Flora Callsen O'Bleness. She married Willis Glasgow on Aug. 20, 1934.
Survivors include: a son, Robert Glasgow and his wife, Wendy, of Hull, Ill.; a daughter, Sharon Gray and her husband, Gary, of Kahoka, Mo.; four grandchildren, Tim Schreck and his wife, Rhonda, Heather Schreck, Douglas Glasgow and Travis Glasgow and his wife, Christy; two great-grandsons, Jarrett Schreck and Trenton Glasgow; a brother, John O'Bleness of Keokuk; a very special sister-in-law, Marjorie Fletcher of Keokuk; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Spaulding and Gladys Kelly and two brothers, Chester and Harold O'Bleness.
She had been employed at the Keokuk Middle School as a cook for 13 years.
Mrs. Glasgow was a member of the Bel Air Baptist Church in Keokuk and loved to read her Bible.
Funeral services were today at Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, with the Rev. Ben Kinney officiating.
Burial was in the Buena Vista Mound Cemetery, rural Keokuk.
Visitation was Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Bel Air Baptist Church, Keokuk.
