Eudora V. Gaibel, 80, of 2311 N. Ohio Ave., Davenport, formerly of Rock Island and Pleasant Valley, Iowa, died Tuesday, April 20, 1993, at Davenport Good Samaritan Center.
Services are 3 p.m. Friday at Hofbauer Funeral Home, Donnellson, Iowa. Burial is in Charleston, Iowa, Cemetery.
Visitation is 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Memorials may be made to the center.
The former Eudora Malloy was born Nov. 9, 1912, in Argyle, Iowa, the daughter of Everet and Bessie Dains Malloy. She married the late Ernest Beaird June 6, 1931, in Macomb. She married Keith Gaibel in February 1954 in Rock Island.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Swanson, Davenport; sons, Frederick Beaird, Salinas, Calif., and Kenneth Beaird, Keokuk, Iowa; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Dolores Speaks, Montrose, Iowa, Dorothy Trone, Warsaw, Ill., and Norma Cattich, Rancho Cordova, Calif.; and brothers, Elmer Malloy, Montrose, and Tom Malloy, both of Phoenix, Ariz.

Former Keokuk resident Eudora V. Gaibel, 80, Davenport, died at 5:50 a.m. Tuesday, April 20, at Good Samaritan Nursing Home, Davenport.
She was born Nov. 9, 1912, in Argyle to Everet Malloy and Bessie Dains.
She was married June 6, 1931, in Macomb, Ill., to Ernest Beaird. He preceded her in death. She was married February 1954 in Rock Island, Ill., to Keith Gaibel.
Survivors include: two sons, Kenneth R. Beaird of Keokuk and Frederick Beaird of Salinas, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Barbara) Swanson of Davenport; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; three sisters, Dolores Speaks of Montrose, Dorothy Trone of Warsaw, Ill., and Norma Cattich of Rancho Codora, Calif.; and two brothers, Elmer Malloy of Montrose and Tom Malloy of Phoenix, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, two brothers and two sisters.
Mrs. Gaibel lived in Keokuk many years ago. She had been living in Davenport for the past eight years.
Services are 3 p.m. Friday at Hofbauer Funeral Home in Donnellson with the Rev. Bill Hauser officiating. Burial will be in Charleston Cemetery in Donnellson.
Visitation begins 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with family meeting friends 7-9 p.m.
Memorials are established with Good Samaritan Nursing Center of Davenport.
