Died Here TuesdayMiss Myrtle Ewing who has made her home in Carthage most of the time for a number of years, died at the home of Mrs. Irene Dailey Tuesday evening, Oct. 12, at 6 o'clock after a brief illness. She had been an invalid since early girlhood and in recent years was almost blind. Mrs. Dailey gave her the most devoted care and she also had the companionship and assistance of Miss Adelia Couchman in her last hours.
She was the daughter of G. W. and Eunice Cox Ewing and was born in St. Marys township April 8, 1873 one of a family of six children all of whom with the parents preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at the Ostrich Funeral Home Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, the Rev. C. J. Kinrade officiating. Interment will be in Holland cemetery.
