Mina Elliott Dies In Chillicothe
Mina Elliott, 81, Meadville, died Saturday afternoon at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church, Meadville, the Rev. George Hess officiating. Burial will be in Meadville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the Wright Funeral Home, Meadville.
Mina, daughter of P. B. and Etta Poole Malloy, was born Oct. 24, 1900.
She married Burgess Elliott, Sept. 6, 1952.
She is survived by her husband of the home in Meadville; three daughters, Mrs. Glenn (Mary) Morris, Mrs. George (Lucille) Elliott, both of Chillicothe; Mrs. Buddy (Carolyn) Gall, Kansas City; a son and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Beatrice McCoy, Chillicothe; a grandson, Larry Moore, whom Mrs. Elliott raised; six other grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers.
Mrs. Elliott was a member of the Baptist Church.
