Funeral services for Kenneth J. Ellefritz, 56, 21 Randolph St., Carthage, were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Kilgore-Palmer Memorial Home with the Rev. R. E. Aden officiating. Burial was in McKay Cemetery.
Mr. Ellefritz died Monday morning, Jan. 27, 1969, in his home in Carthage.
He was born Jan. 11, 1913, in Carthage, a son of Carlos and Lucy Mort Ellefritz. He married Virginia Buss Jan. 16, 1944, in Carthage. He worked at the Carthage Elevator and lived all of his life in Carthage.
Surviving with his wife are one son, Larry, at home; two daughters, Sandy, at home and Mrs. Laverne (Linda) Schmudlach of Carthage; two brothers, LeRoy and Albert of Carthage; one sister, Mrs. Irene VanDyke of Jacksonville; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, three brothers and four sisters.
