Donnie G. Ellefritz, 68, of Carthage, died Friday, March 15, 2002, in Memorial Hospital in Carthage.
He was born March 24, 1933, in Carthage, the son of Gaylord "Gay" and Clara Neally Ellefritz. On Oct. 27, 1962, in LaHarpe he married Victoria Cass. She survives.
He is survived by his wife, Victoria of Carthage; one son, Douglas Ellefritz of Lincoln; one brother, Lyle Ellefritz of Carthage.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Phyllis Collingswood; one brother, Max.
He worked as a farm hand in the Carthage area. He enjoyed making handicrafts, doing general repairs. He was a fix-it man. He loved visiting with relatives and friends. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Carthage.
Graveside services were held Monday, March 18, at McKay Cemetery near Burnside, with Rev. Beth A. Rupe officiating.
Memorials in the name of Donnie G. Ellefritz have been established.
