CARLOS ELEFRITZ
DIES AT AGE OF 66

Heart Attack Kills Him
At Home

Carlos G. Elefritz, well-known Carthage man, passed away at his home in Burnside, Ill., Monday morning, March 29, at five o'clock of heart trouble, aged 66 years, 2 months and 8 days.  He had been in failing health for some time.

He was the son of Solomen and Elizabeth Elefritz who preceded him in death.

He was married to Lucy E. Mort of Burnside in 1895 and to this union were born eight children, all of whom with the mother survive: Gay of Carthage, Lawrence of Burnside, LeRoy of Park Ridge C. C. C. Camp and Paul, Albert and Kenneth at home; Alma, wife of James Nealey, and Irene, wife of Harry VanDyke, both of Carthage, also two brothers, Thaddeus of Peoria, Briston of Sioux City, Ia., and one sister, Jennie Miller of California, fifteen grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

Mr. Elefritz was a kind and unassuming man always ready to help those more unfortunate than himself.  He was a good and kind husband and his goodness to his children will long be remembered.  Being a native of Hancock county and living here all his life, he leaves many friends and relatives to mourn his passing.

Funeral services for Mr. Elefritz were held Wednesday, March 30, at The Elms, at 2:30 o'clock p. m., Rev. R. A. Gordon officiating.  Interment was in McKay cemetery.
