Mr. Dunn, in failing health for the past several years, had been a patient for three at Hines.  This followed long months of treatment in the Quad-City area.

The wife, Elsie, passed away a number of years ago, and Mr. Dunn was married at Galesburg in 1919 to Mrs. Della Palmer.  Since that time with the exception of eight years spent at Moline, Galesburg has been the couple's home.

Mr. Dunn saw service in the first World War with the National Guard and had been quite active in veterans' work as long as his health permitted.

He is survived by his wife, Della Dunn, of Galesburg; a son, Harry Dunn, of Peoria; a step-son, Lloyd Palmer, of Galesburg; three brothers, Earn and Clint Dunn of LaHarpe and George Dunn of Dallas City; and a number of nieces and nephews.  Three sisters, Lillie, Maggie and Sadie (Mrs. James Andrews) all preceded him in death.
