LA HARPE TUES.Funeral Rites For Birmingham
Native Will Be Held Friday
AfternoonMrs. Dora M. Dunn, 77, of LaHarpe passed away at 12:52 p. m. Tuesday, July 26, at the LaHarpe hospital where she had been a patient four days. She was an aunt of William Royer of Birmingham and Everett Royer of Rushville.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Friday at the Banks and Beals funeral home in LaHarpe. The Rev. Leo Gossett will officiate and burial will be in LaHarpe cemetery.
Mrs. Dunn was born at Birmingham, Ill., Dec. 15, 1888, the daughter of Charles and Anna Burkhart Duncan. She had spent her entire lifetime in the Lacrosse and LaHarpe communities and was a member of the old Lacrosse Christian church.
She married Ernest Dunn December 24, 1908 at Fountain Green. He survives. Also surviving are four daughters: Mrs. Jeff (Frances) Boyer of Carthage, Mrs. M. O. (Madge) Housewright of Burnside, Mrs. Clifford (Eva) Boyd of San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. Owen (Louise) Collins of LaHarpe; three brothers, Emory Duncan of Burnside, Ralph Duncan of LaHarpe, and Leslie Duncan of Miller, Mo.; three sisters: Mrs. Hattie Dulaney of Des Moines, Iowa, Mrs. Minnie Chandler of Grand Junction, Colo. and Mrs. Etta Andrews of LaHarpe; 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. A sister died previously.
