Mrs. Maude Duffey

HOUSTONIA -- Mrs. Maude Ann Duffey, 66, died Wednesday night at Cooper County Memorial Hospital, Boonville.

She was born Aug. 31, 1911, at Knob Noster, daughter of the late Andrew and Ethel Dryer Malloy.  On Nov. 1, 1930, she was married at Warrensburg to R. L. Duffey, who survives of the home here.

Mrs. Duffey was a member of the First Baptist Church, Sweet Springs.  She had been employed at the International Shoe factory in Sweet Springs.

Other survivors include a son, Derry Thomas Duffey, Kansas City; a daughter, Mrs. Arlis Edwards, Sweet Springs; three sisters, Mrs. Alma Griffith, of LaMonte; Mrs. Iva Hall of Lexington; Mrs. Florean Tebbenkamp, Concordia; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Moore Funeral Home, LaMonte.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Sweet Springs.

Friends may call from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home in LaMonte.
