Funeral for Mrs.
Mary J. Denton, 93,
Is This Afternoon

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Jane Denton, 93, of Hamilton will be held today at 2 p.m. in the Hamilton funeral home, the Rev. Robert Means officiating.  Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery.  Mrs. Denton died Tuesday in her home in Hamilton.

Born in Lima Jan. 7, 1863, she was the daughter of Absalom and Emily Palmer Young.  She was married Nov. 17, 1887 to Henry H. Denton, who preceded her in death.

She was a past matron of the Eastern Star of Hamilton and a member of Bethel Presbyterian church.

Surviving are two sons, O. K., of Hamilton and H.P., of Springfield, eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
