Frank Lester Cox

Funeral services for Frank Lester Cox of Kansas City, Mo., formerly of Carthage vicinity, were held Thursday afternoon, Oct. 11, in the Neiser Funeral Home with the Rev. James E. Piper officiating.  Pallbearers were, Floyd Duffy, Lawrence Duffy, Francis Cox and Wesley Cox.  Burial was in Moss Ridge cemetery.

Mr. Cox died Oct. 9, in Kansas City, Mo.

Born near Middle Creek, July 28, 1886, he was a son of Henry and Nannie Kimbrough Cox.  He lived in Hancock County most of his early life, going to North Dakota and later moving to Kansas City.

He was married to Dorcus Newhart who survives with one daughter, Mrs. Howard (Lillian) Wirth of Los Altos, Calif., two sons, Francis Cox and Wesley Cox of Kansas City.

Mr. Cox was a nephew of Mrs. E. G. McAnulty, Mrs. Frank Kimbrough and Mrs. Charles Kimbrough of Carthage.
