Funeral services for Mrs. Frances E. Cook, 74, Carthage, were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Fecht Funeral Home in Carthage with the Rev. Edward Wilcox officiating. Burial was in the McConnell Cemetery near Fountain Green.
Mrs. Cook died Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 27, 1973, in Memorial Hospital in Carthage.
She was born Sept. 13, 1898, in Webster, a daughter of John Walker and Eva Elizabeth Hobart McConnell.
Surviving are two sons, Russell W. Cook Jr., of Lexington, Ky., and John W. Cook of New Jersey; one daughter, Mrs. Howard (Betty Lou) Tieckelman of Buffalo, N. Y.; one sister, Mrs. Howard (Marguarite) Hobart of Dothan, Ala.; 15 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by six sisters and one brother.
