HAROLD D. COLLINS

April 27, 1938 -- Nov. 14, 2005

Harold D. "Dan" Collins, 67, of LaHarpe, died Monday, Nov. 14, 2005, at his home.

He was born April 27, 1938, in LaHarpe, a son of Archie and Ruby Gilmore Collins.

He is survived by two sisters, Adeline Weast of Dahinda and Joan Shoemaker of LaHarpe; two brothers, Clyde and Claude Collins of LaHarpe; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in LaHarpe with Rev. Diane Bigley officiating.  Burial will follow in the LaHarpe Cemetery.  The family will meet with friends from 1 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home.

A memorial fund has been established for the Blessing Hospice of Hancock County.
