HAMILTON, Ill. -- Leota Marie Cludray, 91, died in Montebello HealthCare Center, Hamilton, lll., Thursday, March 24, 2005.
She was born on Feb. 3, 1914, in Hancock County near Carthage, lll., the daughter of Melgar and Jesse Smith Mosley.
She married Minor E. Larson in 1930. She later married Leslie Cludray. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Cludray was a lifelong resident of Hancock County and worked as a waitress and domestic for many years. She enjoyed country western and gospel music, working in her yard and flower garden and the colorful world around her. She was a member of the Carthage First Christian Church.
Survivors include: a son, Minor L. (Roberta) Larson of LeClaire; sisters, Leona "Bobbie" Smith of Carthage and Coleen (Hannon) Dochterman of West Burlington; sister-in-laws, Betty Mosley of LaHarpe, Ill., and Margaret Mosley of Moline, Ill.; 15 grandchildren, Marty (Karla) Larson of LeClaire, Tela Mirfield of Port Byron, Ill., Rick (Nancy) Larson of Bettendorf, Kenneth (Debi) Larson of Eldridge, Hank (Susan) Larson and Melvin (Chris) Larson, both of Tennessee, Ill., Gina (Patrick) St. John of Colchester, Ill., Jeffery (Julie) Larson of Moline, and Victoria (Jimmie) Thayer of Gordon, Wis.; and stepgrandchildren, Randy (Deb) Oetgen of Moline, and Connie (Rodney) Spring of Davenport.
Other survivors include great-grandchildren, TeAnna Mirfield, Brandon and Amanda Larson, Drew and Kyle Larson, Nicole and Garth Larson, Amy, Angel and Shelly Larson, Casey Larson, Joshua and Justin St. John, Jordan and Jered Larson, and Hunter and Phoenix Thayer; a great-great-grandson, Austin; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by sons, Loren Larson in 1979, Gene Larson in 2001; brothers, Rollie Mosley, William Mosley and Dean Mosley; and a brother-in-law, Harold "Sherm" Smith.
Lamporte Funeral Home of Carthage is in charge of arrangements.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. Monday until the time of the service.
Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery East and South of Carthage.
Memorials may be made to the Carthage First Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Loren Larson in 1979, and Gene Larson in 2001; her parents, three brothers, Rollie Mosley, William Mosley and Dean Mosley; and brother-in-law, Harold "Sherm" Smith.

Funeral services were held March 28, at Lamporte Funeral Home in Carthage. Burial followed in Oak Grove Cemetery.
