Funeral services for Lewis H. Carroll, 89, of Carthage were held Tuesday afternoon in the Fecht Funeral Home. Burial was in the Belknap Cemetery near Carthage.
Mr. Carroll died Friday night in Graham Hospital in Keokuk, Iowa.
He was born at Monticello, Mo., June 1, 1877, a son of Thomas and Louisa Carroll. He was married to Mabel May Belknap. She died in 1925.
Surviving are a son, Clifford of Macomb; two sisters, Mrs. Julia Ensminger of Keokuk, and Mrs. Leslie White of Ferris; three grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Seven brothers and sisters preceded him in death.
