Column 6SARAH ELIZABETH
WELCHEL CARLESarah Elizabeth Welchel Carle, the daughter of Henry and Emma E. Welchel, was born Feb. 6, 1903, near Tennessee, Ill., and passed away at her home Sept. 21, 1932, being at the time of her death 29 years, 7 months and 14 days of age.
Early in her childhood, when her mother's health failed, she made her home with her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. John Hall, who resided at Joetta, Ill., until her marriage to George Carle on Sept. 6, 1919. To this union were born a daughter, Nellie, aged 12 years; a son, Gerald, 6 years old; and an infant daughter, Velma, aged two months. These, along with the heart-broken father, mourn the loss of mother. She leaves two brothers, Ralph and Arthur Welchel, Tennessee, Ill., and an aged aunt, Mrs. John Hall, to share their grief. Her mother, father and uncle, John Hall, preceded her in death.
Sadie, as she was familiarly called by those who knew her, was a kind wife, a loving mother, and a true friend and neighbor. She will be sadly missed by many friends.
May our Father in heaven comfort their sorrowing hearts.
"We have lost our darling mother,
She has bid us all adieu.
She has gone to live in heaven
And her form is hid to view.
Oh, that dear one how we loved her!
Oh, how hard to give her up!
But an angel came down for her,
And removed her from our flock."Funeral services were held at the Oak Grove Christian church, Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. H. C. Reichel. Interment at Oak Grove cemetery.
