Mrs. Frances M. Carle

LAHARPE, Ill. --- Mrs. Frances M. Carle, 75, Blandinsville, died at 12:40 a.m., Friday, August 6, in the LaHarpe hospital where she had been a patient for two days.

The daughter of John and Emma Hare Duffield, she was born August 7, 1895, near Blandinsville.  She was married to George W. Carle at Blandinsville on July 22, 1917.  He died February 29, 1928.

Mrs. Carle lived most of her life in Webster, Ill.  She moved to Blandinsville two years ago.  She was a member of the Blandinsville Christian church.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. R. F. (Beulah) Howell, LaHarpe; Mrs. Joseph (Hazel) Sowder, Anaheim, Calif.; three sons, Joseph, Walcott, Ia.; Louis, Orange, Calif.; George, China Lake, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Ida Ball, San Luis Obispo, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, August 8, at Banks and Beals Funeral home, LaHarpe.  The Rev. C. J. Rediger will officiate.  Burial will be in Oak Grove cemetery near Carthage.  Friends may call at the funeral home until time of the service.
