Elmo Walter (Joner) Bryant of 1214 William street died Monday at 5:25 p.m. in Graham hospital. He had been in failing health the past several months.
He was born July 30, 1927 in Keokuk, son of Walter J. and Ethel Bryant. He was a member of the First Christian church.
Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Ethel Bryant; one sister, Mrs. William (Chloe) Briggs; five brothers, Riley, Francis, Delbert, Dale and Leslie, of Keokuk and Alfred of Montrose.
He was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Opal.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, Feb. 16 at 2:30 in the DeJong Funeral Home with the Rev. A. L. Ullestad officiating.
The Eagle lodge will have a service in the funeral home Wednesday evening at 7:30.
Burial will be in Lawn Ridge cemetery near Memphis.
