Mary Ellen Bryant, 80, Keokuk, died at 3:27 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 2, at Keokuk Area Hospital.
She was born Aug. 19, 1913, in Alexandria, Mo., to Fuller H. and Ida Ethel Logue Mortimer.
She was married March 17, 1936, in Kahoka, Mo., to W. Wayne Bryant. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include: four sons, Larry R. Bryant of Irving, Texas, Lonnie D. Bryant and Melvin N. Bryant, both of Keokuk, and Kenneth L. Bryant of Mesa, Ariz.; three daughters, Wanda Glasgow of Springdale, Ark., Marilyn Jean Spence of Irving, Texas, and Mrs. William A. (Janice) Hayden of Alexandria; 26 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren; and a brother.
Mrs. Bryant also was preceded in death by her parents, a son, a granddaughter, a grandson, two great-grandsons, six brothers and a sister.
A lifelong area resident, she was a member of First Baptist Church in Hamilton, Ill.
Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at DeJong's Funeral Home with the Revs. Dan Davis and William Cotten officiating. Burial will be in Buena Vista Cemetery.
Visitation begins at 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with family meeting friends 7-9.
A memorial is established with Buena Vista Cemetery.

Funeral services were held Saturday at DeJong's Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Davis and Rev. William Cotten officiating.
Burial was in Buena Vista Cemetery.
She was born August 19, 1913, in Alexandria, Missouri, the daughter of Fuller H. and Ida Ethel Logue Mortimer.

(Janice) Hayden of Alexandria, Mo.; 26 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and one brother.

Born Aug. 19, 1913, in Alexandria, Mo., Mrs. Bryant was a daughter of Fuller H. and Ida E. Logue Mortimer. She was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of First Baptist Church of Hamilton, Ill.
On March 17, 1936, she married W. Wayne Bryant in Kahoka, Mo. He preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by a son, six brothers, a sister, two grandchildren and two great-grandsons.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in DeJong's Funeral Home by the Rev. Dan Davis and the Rev. William Cotten. Burial will be in Buena Vista Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 3-9 p.m. Friday with family meeting friends after 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Buena Vista Cemetery.
