dies ThursdayJames L. Bryant of Route 1, Alexandria, Mo. died at 11:10 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph hospital where he had been a patient for two months.
Born March 25, 1897 in Greensburg, Mo., he was the son of William H. and Charity Hatfield Bryant. He had lived in Alexandria 40 years.
In 1926 he married Mildred Fellows. He was of the Methodist faith.
Surviving are three sons, James Jr. of Peoria, Ill., Eugene of Keokuk and Harold of Alexandria, a daughter, Mrs. Bonita Nourse of Colona, Ill., 14 grandchildren, a brother, Wayne B. of Keokuk, two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Steele and Mrs. Pauline Shillak, both of
Keokuk and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his wife, two brothers, a sister and grandchild.The funeral will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. in DeJong's Funeral Home with the Rev. Clifford Isaacson officiating. Burial will be in the Buena Vista cemetery.
