A funeral for Harold LeRoy "Monk" Bryant, 53, of Warsaw, Ill., who died at 9 p.m. Saturday Jan. 7 in Keokuk Area Hospital, is 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in DeJong Funeral Home with the Rev. Darryl Ridgely officiating.
Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery at Keokuk.
Visitation began at 2 p.m. today.
He was born Aug. 9, 1935 in Keokuk, son of James and Mildred Ellis Bryant. He married Judy Williams June 17, 1969 at Quincy, Ill.
Employed as a bricklayer until 1978, he lived in Hamilton for 15 years before moving to Warsaw 2½ years ago.
Survivors include his wife Judy; sons Doug of Sand Springs, Okla., and Duane of the home; brothers James of Converse, La., Gaylord of Keokuk, Richard of Danville and Michael of La Harpe, Ill.; sister Mrs. Bonita Nourse of Colona, Ill.; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Harold LeRoy "Monk" Bryant, 53, Warsaw, died Saturday in Keokuk (Iowa) Area Hospital.
He was born Aug. 9, 1935, in Keokuk, a son of James and Mildred Ellis Bryant. He married Judy Williams June 17, 1969 at Quincy.
