Francis Dallas Bryant, 120 N. 9th St., died at his home 2:20 a.m. today.
Mr. Bryant was born Aug. 26, 1920 in Keokuk, the son of Walter J. and Ethel L. Converse Bryant. With the exception of six years, he lived all his life in Keokuk.
He was employed by the Foote-Mineral Co. for 31 years and was a member of Local No. 148. He married Ruth Evelyn Gustafson Feb. 17, 1952 in Keokuk. He was a member of the First Christian Church.
He served with the U.S. Army in the South Pacific --- Japan, Phillipines and Australia during World War II.
He is survived by his wife; a sister, Mrs. William H. (Chloe) Briggs of Keokuk; two brothers, Alfred of Montrose and Riley of Keokuk; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded by his parents, a sister, Opal and three brothers, Walter, Leslie and Dale.
Funeral Services will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday at the DeJong Funeral Home with Rev. R. Terry Halstead officiating. Interment with military rites will be in the Keokuk National Cemetery.
