Della Mae Bryant, Airport Road, died Sunday at 5:30 a.m. at Graham Hospital.
Born June 18, 1895 in Pike county, Mo., she was the daughter of Michael and Rose Roberts Bennett. She was a resident of Keokuk for the past 44 years, and for over 30 years, had been employed by the Keokuk Canning company, later the Glaser Crandle company.
On Feb. 12, 1912 she married Clyde Bryant in Kahoka.
She is survived by two sons, Russell of Basco and Lee of Keokuk; four daughters, Mrs. Floyd (Izola) Starr of Keokuk, Mrs. Dale (Nellie) Mills of LaFeria, Texas, Mrs. Leonard (Gladys) Reeve of Keokuk, and Mrs. Charles (Dorothy) Slaughter of Chattanooga, Tenn., 22 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband August 15, 1930, two sisters and three brothers.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at DeJong's Funeral Home with the Rev. Virgil Reeve officiating. Interment will be in the Frazee cemetery.
