May 6, 1897--- Yesterday afternoon Thos. F. Bryant and Miss Angelia Patterson, both of near Bible Grove, were united in marriage at Jackson's store in this city, Squire C. F. Sanders pronouncing the words that made them man and wife. Jackson's store has been the scene of a number of weddings the past year.

At Greensburg Saturday --- Had Lived Near Fabius 45 Years.
Funeral services for Mrs. Frank Bryant of near Fabius, who died at 1:30 o'clock last Thursday morning at the Gibson Hospital in Edina, were conducted at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Christian Church in Greensburg by the Rev. J. Dan Moore. Burial was in the cemetery near by.
Mrs. Bryant had not been well for several years but she became seriously ill Dec. 4 and was taken to the hospital where death came. She was 68 years old and had been a resident near Fabius in Benton township for the last forty-five years.
Besides her husband there survive a son, Thomas Arthur Bryant; a brother, Harrison Patterson; a half sister, Mrs. Roy Wright, of Newberg, Mo., and a half brother, Earl Patterson, of Rockford, Ill. There are also six grandchildren.
As Angelia Patterson, a daughter of Benton and Jane Young Patterson, Mrs. Bryant was born Apr. 15, 1878, near La Harpe, Hancock County, Ill. At the age of 5 years she came with her parents to Missouri. They settled near Bible Grove in Scotland County, where she grew to young womanhood. In early life she joined the Pleasant Ridge Christian Church, of which she remained a member.
She and Thomas Francis Bryant were married May 15, 1897. To them were born two sons, one of whom, Francis Claud, preceded his mother in death.
Those who attended the funeral services from away from here were: Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Klodt and daughters, Margaret and Patty Jo, and son, George, of Maquon, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Earl Patterson and sons, Elmer and Bobby, of Rockford, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Roy Wright and son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Alva Wright, of Newberg, Mo.; Mr. and Mrs. Will Bryant, and Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Bryant, Mr. and Mrs. Riley Bryant and Vernon Bryant and Mrs. Ethel Bryant and family of Keokuk, Ia.; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bryant and son,
Dale1, of Memphis and Alfred Smith of Cherry Box.
