Minnie V. Brandon, 90, Fountain Green, died Oct. 21, at her home.
She was born Dec. 26, 1894, near LaHarpe, a daughter of George and Melissa Parsons Greenig. She married Lynn Brandon. He died Aug. 3, 1950.
She was a member of the Church of God (Seventh Day).
Surviving are two sons, George, Blandinsville and Baxter, Fountain Green; three daughters, Maxine Bean, Macomb, Kathleen Carlson, Springfield, Mo. and Bessie Gillett, Tucson, Ariz.; two brothers, Wayne and Irwin (Doc) Greenig, both of LaHarpe; 23 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held Thursday in the Banks and Beals Funeral Home, the Rev. John Lewis officiating. Burial was in McConnell Cemetery.
A memorial has been established.
