LESTER H. BOYER

Jan. 25, 1918 -- Jan. 6, 2006

Lester H. Boyer, 87, of Dallas City, died Friday, Jan. 6, 2006, at the Gilpin Home in Dallas City.

He was born Jan. 25, 1918, in Unity, Wis., a son of William M. and Fannie Josephson Boyer.  On July 22, 1969, he married Mary Hutson.  She died Nov. 9, 2004.

He is survived by one sister, Lila O'Brien of Spencer, Wis.; one brother, Harold Boyer of Unity; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services with military rites were held Monday, Jan. 9, at the Harris Cemetery near Dallas City.  Rev. Jim Luder officiated.  A memorial service will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Unity in March.

Banks & Beals Funeral Home, Dallas City is in charge of local arrangements.
