MYRNA BOSTON
DIED SATURDAY

Passed Away At Her Home
Southeast Of Carthage. --
Burial Tuesday.

Myrna Elizabeth, beloved daughter of Charles W. and Rowena (Yetter) Boston passed away at her home four and one-half miles southeast of Carthage, on Saturday evening December 15th at 5:25 o'clock.

She was born on December 7th, 1907, her age being 21 years, and 8 days.

The youngest of a family of seven, and the only one at home Myrna was the center around which the family's affections revolved.  Of a most kind and lovable disposition she was greatly beloved by the family, and a host of relatives and friends.

Although Myrna had been in poor health for six years, she was able to be about and with great patience and fortitude far beyond one of her years, she bore her affliction bravely and without complaint.

Truly her life though so brief was lived nobly.

Her death is a great blow to the family especially the dear mother to whom she was a constant and inseparable companion. Myrna took a great interest in the home, and was a help to her mother in all house-hold duties, the work of her dear hands being evident in many places about the home.

Myrna received her education at East Union School where she graduated from the eighth grade, and entered Carthage High School in the fall of 1922.  She was only able to go a few months, when her health began to fail and she was forced to discontinue her school work.

Myrna united with the Baptist church of Carthage at the age of fifteen.  Her great devotion to her Master was manifested in her daily walk of life, her greatest pleasure being in serving those near and dear to her.

She leaves to mourn her loss a devoted mother and father, three sisters and two brothers.  Namely; Mrs. Goldie Dickinson of Carthage, Mrs. Lula White of Plymouth, Mrs. Fern Frazee of Keokuk, Ia., Gay Boston of Macomb and Ernest Boston of Carthage.  One sister, Ava May Kimbrough preceded her in death.

The funeral services were conducted at the Baptist church of Carthage, Ill., Tuesday morning at 11:00 o'clock Dr. Robert Byler officiating.  Interment in Moss Ridge.

Dearest loved one we must lay thee
In the peaceful grave's embrace
But thy memory will be cherished
Till we see thy heavenly face.

CARD OF THANKS

We sincerely desire to express our heart felt appreciation and gratitude to all our friends and neighbors for their kindness during the illness of our loved one, and for the beautiful floral offerings.
