Column 1Rites for Carthage
Man Held SundayFuneral services for Charles Lewis Booz, 84, of Carthage were held Sunday afternoon in the Kilgore Memorial Home with Rev. Leland Beck officiating. Burial was in Majorville cemetery.
Mrs. Vernen Webster sang. Pallbearers were Burton Ruggles, Charles Spangler, Arthur Spangler, Chester Callihan, Lee Smock and Wyman Smith.
Booz died Friday in the Deeters rooming house in Carthage.
He was born Oct. 28, 1870 in Tennessee, the son of Joel T. and Mary Etta Martin Booz.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Alpha Trebise of Tabernash, Colo., three grandchildren and a brother, Frank Booz of Webster.
