Micki Bloyd, 50, of West Point, died Thursday, Jan. 23, 2003, as the result of an automobile accident.
She was born on July 22, 1952, in Peoria, the daughter of Clifton and Betty Plowman Belville. She married Tom Bloyd on Dec. 12, 1974, in Quincy.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Bloyd of West Point; mother, Betty Belville of Hamilton; one brother, Clif Belville of Sutter; two sons, Tim (Melanie) Heavin of Hamilton and James (Brenda) Heavin of Columbia, Mo.; five grandchildren, Joel, Jessica, Jordan, Clay, and Sydni Heavin; and seven nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Hugh and Ruth Plowman and Frank and Okal Belville; and her father, Clif Belville.
She graduated from Hamilton High School. She was currently attending Carl Sandburg College, where she was on the dean's list. She was also a member of Phi Theta Kappa Sorority. She attended Stillwell Methodist Church, Stillwell. She loved animals and enjoyed hunting with her husband. She was a member of Missouri Hunters' Association. She and her husband enjoyed car racing. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Services were held Monday, Jan. 27, at 10 a.m. at Lamporte Funeral Home of Hamilton. Rev. Terry Lovell officiated. Burial followed in the Oakwood Cemetery in Hamilton.
