LIFE ENDS FOR
MAGGIE BLOYD
AT CARTHAGE

Mrs. Maggie E. Bloyd, 74, of Carthage, passed away Friday, Nov. 13, 1970 at 4:30 p. m. in Carthage Memorial hospital.  Funeral services for Mrs. Bloyd were held at 1:30 p. m. Monday in the Kilgore-Palmer Memorial home in Carthage, the Rev. D. E. Skiles of the Assembly of God church, officiating.  Burial was in Oak Valley cemetery near Warsaw.

Mrs. Bloyd was born near Carthage Nov. 3, 1896, a daughter of Jerry and Bessie Estes Carle.  She was married to William Bloyd Dec. 30, 1912.  He passed away in 1957.

Surviving are two sons, Leo of Carthage and Francis of Wever, Iowa; five daughters, Mrs. Robert (Dorothy) Markey of Burnside, Mrs. Irma Brown of Burlington, Mrs. John (Nancy) Provine of LeMoore, Calif., Mrs. David (Martha Jean) Frakes of Augusta and Mrs. Wilbur (Irene) Turner of Hamilton; four brothers, Otto of Keithsburg, Alfred of Plymouth and George and Francis of Carthage; two sisters, Mrs. Goldie Lemley and Mrs. Mary Montgomery of Colchester; a half-sister, Mrs. Dolly Icenogle of Macomb; 27 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
