Mrs. Polly Belknap, an old and highly respected resident of St. Mary's Prairie, is reported to have been taken seriously ill on Monday.

The widow Belknap, of St. Marys Prairie, whose illness was noted in our last issue, died on Monday.  Her age was probably 65.  She was among one of the first settlers in that part of the county.
