Marlene M. Barclay, 59, of LaHarpe, died Thursday, April 19, 2007, at the Heartland Health Care Center in Macomb.
She was born July 7, 1947, in LaHarpe, a daughter of Oscar and Erice Campbell Mittermyer. She first married James Day. Following his death she married Larry Barclay on July 27, 1982, in Carthage. He died Dec. 12, 1994.
She is survived by one daughter, Nicole Fowler; one son, Roger Day; her father, Oscar "Bud" Mittermyer, all of LaHarpe; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both her husbands; her mother; and one daughter, Ramona Day.
She attended nursing school in Carthage and worked as an L.P.N. at nursing homes in LaHarpe, Macomb and Prairie City.
Following cremation, graveside services will be held today, Wednesday, April 25, at 2 p.m. in the LaHarpe Cemetery. Darren Beachy officiates.
A memorial fund has been established for the American Cancer Society and My Mathew's House of Carthage.
Banks & Beals Funeral Home in LaHarpe is in charge of arrangements.
