Allen Held SundayFuneral services for James A. Allen, 85, of Warsaw were held Sunday afternoon in the Bradfield Memorial chapel in Warsaw. Rev. J. E. VanDyke officiated and burial was in Oakland cemetery.
Allen died Friday in Memorial hospital.
The son of James A. and Mary Beck Allen he was born October 24, 1869 in Tioga, Ill.
December 15, 1897 he married Anna Bennett and she survives with four daughters, Mrs. Avis Gilson of Chicago and Mrs. Alis Fluent of Park Ridge, Mrs. Dorothy Peterson of Wichita, Kans., and Mrs. Euna Underwood of Syford; one son James of Rochelle; one brother Roy of Sutter; one sister Mrs. Clara Remply of San Bernardino, Calif.
Two sisters and three brothers are deceased.
