Funeral for Plymouth
Woman Is Saturday

Funeral services for Mrs. Roy Allen, 34, northwest of Plymouth, were held Saturday afternoon in the Cookson funeral home in Plymouth. Rev. John McKinley officiated and burial was in Forest Lawn Memory Garden near Macomb.

Avery Akers, daughter of Taylor and Hattie Simmons Akers, was born July 12, 1917, near Carthage.  She attended school in Plymouth and was a member of the St. Mary Baptist church.

Surviving are her parents, who live northwest of Plymouth; her widower; six children, Sidney, Sandra, Earl, Mary, Linda and Janice, all at home, and five brothers, Adrian, Eldon and George Akers at home, Loren Akers of Avon and James Akers, who is in military service.
