23. Dr. Henry Urquhart15,57,58 was born on 18 February 1832 in Ramer, Montgomery, Alabama.59 (1900) The US Census list his birthdate as Feb 1833. On 1 June 1870 he was a minister of the gospel in Noxubee County, Mississippi.60 On 1 June 1880 he was a teacher in Auburn, Lee, Alabama.61 On 1 June 1900 Henry was a preacher in Birmingham, Jefferson, Alabama.59 He was buried in July 1902 in Fairview Cemetery, Eufaula, Alabama. He died on 6 July 1902 in Tate Springs, Tennessee.
The following is a quote from the book "Butler County, Alabama":

"Dr. Henry Urquhart was born 18 Jun 1833 in Ramer, Alabama, and died 6 July 1902 in Tate Springs, Tennessee. He was married on 15 Jun 1855 to Miss Missouri Ann Phillips of Mobile.

"Dr Urquhart joined the Methodist Church in 1846 and on 11 Nov 1851, was licensed to preach at the age of 18. His work as a Christian leader was outstanding. He was one of the early presidents of Auburn Female College, the forerunner of Auburn University, which was run by the Methodist Conference at that time. He was one of the presidents of Greenville Collegiate Institute, and pastor of the Greenville Methodist Church and other churches in the county. His final years were spent as editor of the Christian Advocate. He was buried in Eufaula by the side of his wife who preceded him in death on 7 Nov 1884."

Dr. Henry Urquhart and Missouri Ann Phillips were married on 15 July 1855 in West End Chapel, Birmingham, Alabama.10,15 The marriage record is filed in Mobile County Marriage Book 14 Page 472. The wedding ceremony was performed by the Rev. Greenberry Garrett. Missouri Ann Phillips was born on 11 November 1838 in Eufaula, Barbour, Alabama. She lived in Noxubee County, Mississippi on 1 June 1870.60 She lived in Auburn, Lee, Alabama on 1 June 1880.61 (1880) The US Census lists her birthplace as Mississippi. Missouri was buried in November 1884 in Fairview Cemetery, Eufaula, Alabama. She died on 7 November 1884 in Eufaula, Barbour, Alabama.

Lulu Ann Urquhart was born on 14 March 1858 in Mobile, Mobile, Alabama.15 She lived in Noxubee County, Mississippi on 1 June 1870.60 She lived in Auburn, Lee, Alabama on 1 June 1880.61 Lulu lived in Birmingham, Jefferson, Alabama on 1 June 1900.59 She lived in the househol;d of her brother-in-law and sister, Andrew J & Mary Virginia Lamar, in Richland Park, Davidson County, Tennessee on 1 January 1920.62 She died on 9 December 1929 in Nashville, Davidson, Tennessee.10 Lulu was buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Montgomery, Alabama.15 Lulu Ann was never married.
