1. Date not verified, Henry Lockey1 was born in England. On 22 Jul 1702, he applied
for a land grant of 500 acres in Bath County, North Carolina.1 The land grant was granted 5 June 1703. In 1715, he
died in Beaufort County, North Carolina.1
