He enlisted again on 14 May 1720 on the ship "Schoteroog" (Chamber of Amsterdam). He was a constable. His employment ended by his death on 23 Oct 1721 in Asia.

She gives ƒ50.- to their joint daughter Janna Roelofs as her legal portion. They give a rijksdaalder to the poor.⁷
Gerrit Roelefs and Margaretha Loomans with her guardian Secr. Hein made a will in Dec 1748. They name each other as heir. Testator gives his daughter, born from a previous marriage, namely Janna Roelofs, wife of Pieter Stiphout, her legal portion, in addition to what she already has received, namely ƒ135.-. He names as sole heir his daughter Maria Roelofs, wife of Baerent ter Braeke, his daughter Venneken Roelofs. wife of Pieter Bolk, and his son Gerrit Roelofs. Testatrix also names her 3 previously mentioned children as heirs. They wish that their son Gerrit Roelofs shall take over the house, in which they are presently living, and also the store and inventory, for the sum of ƒ600.- car. guilders.³
