Jurrien Luijerwaart was employed by the VOC. He started his service on 15 Nov 1764 on the ship "Vredenhof" (Chamber of Amsterdam). He was a quartermaster. His employment ended by his death on 21 Jul 1762 (?) in Asia.²

     Marcus Meibergen was born in 1803.¹

     Stienken Bils was baptized (NH) on 23 Nov 1740 in Almelo.¹ She died before 1748, because she is not mentioned in the census.²

     Anthoni Bruins was from Almelo at his marriage.^4,1 He married (NH) Femia Dull, daughter of Wolter Dull and Aleida Margaretha Schrunders, on 23 Mar 1740 in Almelo.^1,5,3 (Banns 6 Mar 1740).¹

He was mentioned in the will of Theodorus Bruins and Geertruid Schuitemaker on 3 Aug 1720.²

Court Records.

Landgericht, Almelo, 5 Jun 1755: Berent ten Bruggencate, through Lawyer Hein, confiscated 2 barrels of tobacco, worth 1700 guilders, marked with the brand AB, as belonging to Anthoni Bruins from Tubbergen. These barrels were transported to Almelo, in the boat of Skipper Albert Kuiper, to be transported further to Tubbergen. In this way he wanted to get damages, because of outstanding debts for various merchandise, that were bought on credit and had been delivered during the year 1754. This case continues until at least 21 July 1756.⁶

     Femia Dull was from Tubbergen at her marriage.² She (1) had banns posted (NH) with Rijchardus Revius on 18 May 1727 in Almelo.² They left on 3 Jun 1727 for Tubbergen with certification of church membership.² Femia Dull (2) married (NH) Anthoni Bruins, son of Theodorus Bruins and Geertruid Schuitemaker, on 23 Mar 1740 in Almelo.^3,1,4 (Banns 6 Mar 1740).³ Femia Dull died before May 1755, because her heirs sell the house.⁵
