[Jan.,2011] The second participant is a descendant of George H. Andrews, via son Ray. (Same as Andrews62.) Other Andrews have been added from the public databases of Y Base and Y Search, who's haplogroup matches that of Andrews62. Andrews62 is record # 6VDYD on Y Base and record # 949PV on Y Search. Andrews62's DNA results have also been added to the databases on Ancestry.com and GeneTree.com.

Participants' Oldest Ancestor
One of Andrews62's earliest ancestor is George H. Andrews, b. 1783, in what is now Saratoga Co., NY. He started raising a family in what is now Westport, Essex Co., NY. This Andrews "clan" goes back to New Haven, Conn. in the 1640's.

"Suffolk, England's" oldest ancestor is William Andrewes, Baylham, Suffolk, Engand, b. 1366. Test kit # 107131, Family Tree DNA. This person has the same DYS # 390 = 23 as Andrew62, while most of the others have a 24 value.
Comparing the two test men to the average Andrews, each man has a three (3) marker, one-step deviation, in addition to the shared # 390 deviation.
ZEQWY's (from Y Search.org) oldest ancestor is William H. Andrews, b.~1811 in Georgetown, District of Columbia, USA. He shares three (3) of the same deviations from average as Andrews62. Then, additional, Wm. has two (2) devia. and Andr62 has one (1) devia.. Time to the most recent common ancestor is about 200 to 400 years, thus in the 1500-1700 range.
