It appearing to this court that George Zimmerman late of this county, died intestate since the last term of this county court, leaving some considerable perishable property which needs the care & attention of _________ discreat person;

Therefore ordered by the court, that special Letters of Administration be granted whereupon, John Zimmerman is appointed said special Administrator, who enters into bond in the sum of twelve hundred dollars with David Zimmerman & J. R. McLean suretre’s thereto, which bond in accepted by the court

Ordered by the court, that said Administrators be authorised to sell all the perishable property on hand.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, THAT WE,

John Jones Zimmerman, David Zimmerman, & James R. McLean are held and firmly bound unto the State of North Carolina, in the sum of twelve hundred dollars, current money, to be paid to the said State of North Carolina, for which payment, well and truly to be made, be bind ourselvees, our heirs, executors or administrators, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents, sealed with our seals and dated this 20^th day of January A.D. 1859.

THE CONDITION of this obligation is such, that if the above bounden John Jones Special Administrator of all and singular the goods and chattels, rights and credits of George  Jones Zimmerman, deceased, do make or cause to be made, a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods and chattels, rights and credits of the deceased, which have or shall come to the hands, knowledge or possession of the said John  Jones Zimmerman, or into the hands or possession of any person or persons for him, and the same, so made, do exhibit or cause to be exhibited into the County Court of Guilford at its next Term from the date of these presents: And the same goods, chattels and credits of the deceased, at the time of his death; or which at any time hereafter shall come into the hands or possession of the said John Zimmerman or into the hands or possession of any person for him, do well and truly administer according to law; and further do make, or cause to be made, a true and just account of his said special administration, agreeably to law, and after the date of these presents; and all the rest and residue of the said goods, chattels and credits which shall be found remaining upon the special administrators account, (the same being allowed by the County Court,) shall deliver and pay unto such person or persons, respectively, as the same shall become due, pursuant to the true intent and meaning of the General Assembly in that case made and provided.  And if it shall appear that any Will or Testament was made by the deceased, and the executors therein named do exhibit the same to Court, making request to have it allowed and approved accordingly, if the said John  Jones Zimmerman above bounden being thereunto required, do render and deliver the said letters of Administration, (approbation of such testament being made in said Court,) then this obligation to be void, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.

Smith & Abel Huffines are held and firmly bound unto the State of North Carolina, in the sum of hundred dollars, current money, to be paid to the said State of North Carolina, --for which payment, well and truly to be made, be bind ourselves, our heirs, executors or administrators, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents, sealed with our seals and dated this 21 day February A.D., 1859.

NOTICE

 

Having qualified as Special Admrs. on the Estate of George Zimmerman Deceased on the 12^th day of February A.D. 1859 at the dwelling of the said deceased I will despose to public vendue on a credit the personal property of Said deceased consisting of the following to wit

two head of horses   five head cattle   11 head hogs   & other fixtures 1 Set of Blacksmith tools  waggon fan Still household & kitchen furniture and other articles unnecessary to mention terms made known on the day of Sale all persons in debted to the Estate of said deceased are hereby notified to make immediate payment and settlement as longer indulgence cannot be given and all persons having claims against said Estate will present them for payment within the time prescribed by law or this notice will be pled in bar of their recovery this the 20^th of January A.D. 1859
