The will reads as follows:
In the name of God amen I AARON MICHAEL of the County of Guilford and State of
North Carolina being of sound mind and memory and considering the uncertainty of this
frail and transitory life do therefore make ordain publish and declare this to be my last will
and testament. That is to say: First after all my lawful debts are paid and discharged the
residue of my estate real and personal I give bequeath and dispose of as follows to wit.
All of my estate both real and personal I give and bequeath to my beloved wife
ELIZABETH MICHAEL during her natural life time or widowhood. and should she
marry again then she is to have the use of onc third of my estate during her lifetime. At
her death all of the property real and personal to be equally divided between my children
to wit: CATHERINE E.; DAVID; PETER R.; ALFRED A; ELIZA; JOHN S.; GEORGE
W.; and BARNEY A. MICHAEL.
Likewise I make constitute and appoint my beloved friends JOHN DOGGETT and
HENRY COBB,SR. to be my executors of this my last will and testament.
In witness whereof I have herewith subscribed my name and affixed my seal the twenty
first day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty four.

The above written instrument was subscribed by the said AARON MICHAEL in our
presence and acknowleged by him to each of us; and he at the same time publshed and
declared the above instrument so subscribed to be his last will and testament, and we at
his the testors request and in his presence have signed our names as witnesses hereto.
