He was the son of Jacob Summers (1792-1857) and Margaret Boone (1791-1877); grandson of Adolphus Valentine Summers (1768-1853) and Catherine (1766-1824); great grandson of Jacob and Margaret (Faust) Summers. Emiley Rose Huffines was born 1 November 1818, in Guilford County, NC and died 22 October 1873 in Webster Co, MO. Both are buried at Eureka Methodist Church Cemetery, Rader, Webster Co., MO.
